GATE 2025: GATE stands for ‘Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is one the most popular entrance exam to continue further studies for the students who have completed their engineering and wanted to continue their higher studies like M.Tech etc. Each year GATE gets conducted successfully at various examination centers, and as like every year, in the same sense, the examination will be conducted this year too. GATE 2025 Syllabus and Pattern:
The examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test. There will be a total of 22 papers in GATE. The examination will be conducted online. There will be a total of 65 questions in the GATE. The examination will be for a total of 100 marks. 55 questions will be based on core subjects and engineering mathematics. These 55 questions will be of a total of 85 marks and the rest ten questions will be of a total of 15 marks. The examination will be divided into two parts:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
These types of questions will be of a total of 1 or 2 marks. Each question will have four options, and out of them, you have to choose the correct one. - Numerical Answer Questions
These types of questions will be of 1 or 2 marks. Candidates need to answer by using the virtual keypad.
There will be no options provided for this section.
